After the Springbrook golf course the district decided on having another golf curse and Naperbrook was taken initiative of in the year 1988. Naperbrook golf course was inaugurated officially in the year 1991 but was immediately closed after 3 weeks for 13inch of over pouring shower. Since then there have been many renovations done to the golf course for its betterment. Perimeter fence installation, their repair works, cart path paving throughout 60% of the course, clubhouse carpeting replacement, replacement of hole no.8 green complex, three new tee boxes, course entrance signs, clubhouse office, storage, and basement addition, 2 on-course restroom facilities, target greens on the driving range, and many more changes and renovations have been done to the course till date to provide the golfer with better facility.
The name “Naperbrook” originated from the idea that the golf course is affiliated with Naperville Park District and the golf course site’s closeness to the Bollingbrook. The well blend of the two names of these two places gave the Naperbrook.
